- Smriti Mandhana missed the last match due to viral fever and will again this match due to shoulder Injury. Her shoulder has been injured during the practice session.
- India Women won the both matches and currently placed at the top of Group B point table having 4 points.
- They defeated Bangladesh Women in last game by 18 runs.
- Shafali Verma (39 runs off 17 balls) and Jemimah Rodrigues (34 runs off 37 deliveries) batted again very solid in last match. Veda Krishnamurthy played a good finishers inning of 20 runs off just 11 balls.
- Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur failed to score in last both matches.
- In bowling, Poonam Yadav took 3 wickets in last match. Now, she has 7 wickets in last two games. Shikha Pandey and Arundhatti Reddy also got two wickets in last game. S Pandey has taken 5 wickets in last two games.
- Shafali Verma and Wicket Keeper Taniya Bhatia will open the batting. Shafali Verma, a 16-years old bats woman, is a very attacking bats woman who has a good strike rate of 145 in T20 format. Scored 39 runs off just 17 balls in last game against Bangladesh Women and also scored 30 plus runs against Australia Women in first match. Must pick bats woman in SL with C/VC Choice.
Taniya Bhatia is a decent bats woman who opened the innings in last match due to Mandhana's absent. Played some good innings in past but could not play any remarkable innings in recent time. Can try in GL or Ignore her.
- Jemimah Rodrigues will bat one down. Another good bats women in top order who is famous for her classic batting. Scored 34 runs in last game and 25+ in first game. Her good recent form allows any one to pick her in SL.
- Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will bat two down. Very good bats woman in middle order who has enough power to hit the ball over the rope. Even scored very poor in last few matches but able to play a good innings in any match. Also a good part time off spinner but could not bowl any over in this tournament yet. Can be taken in SL. Must try in GL with C/VC Choice.
- Deepti Sharma will bat three down. Must Pick all rounder who scored very solid 49 runs in first match against Australia Women . Even failed to score in last match but could be very beneficial in any match. She is a good off spinner who has consistent wicket taking record in past. However, wicket less in both matches . Must pick player in SL with VC Choice.
- Richa Ghosh will bat at No 06. Decent bats woman who batted good at domestic level but could not prove her self at International level.
- Veda Krishnamurthy will do the duty of late hitting. Attacking bats woman who played a good cameo of 20 runs in last game. Could be taken in SL if India bat first.
- Shikha Pandey and Arundhathi Reddy will lead the pace attack. Shikha Pandey is a very experienced pacer who took 5 wickets in last two matches. She picked two wickets in last match and also took 3 wickets in first match against AUS-W. A Reddy bowled also very good in last game and picked two wickets.
- Poonam Yadav and Rajeshwari Gayakwad will lead the spin along with Deepti Sharma. Poonam Yadav has been very exceptional in this tournament. She got three wickets in last match against Bangladesh and 4 wickets in first game against the host. Hence, she has total 7 wickts in last two matches. Rajeshwari Gayakwad is also a decent left arm spinner who bowled very good in recently played Tri Nation Series. Also took 2 wickets in last two games.
New Zealand Women : -
- New Zealand Women won the first match against Sri Lanka Women by 7 wickets.
- Hayley Jensen [16-3w] and Amelia Kerr [21-2w] bowled very good in last game that helped New Zealand Women to restrict Sri Lanka Women for only 127/7. Sophie Devine [27-1w] and Lea Tahuhu [18-1w] also bowled well in last match.
- On the basis of a great half century of Sophie Devine (75 runs off 55 deliveries ), New Zealand Women achieved their target of 128 runs with 14 balls to spare. Maddy Green also scored 29 runs in last game.
- Experienced pacer Holly Huddleston is expected to play this game in place of Jess Kerr.
- All rounder Sophie Devine and Wicket Keeper bats woman Rachel Priest will open the batting.
Sophie Devine is a world class all rounder who registered brilliant 75 runs and took one wicket in last match against Sri Lanka Women. Has 4 half centuries and one century in last five T20 match. Recent form is also very remarkable because he was the highest run scored in WBBL this season. Consistent wicket taker with her good medium pace bowling. Must pick player in any types of league with default choice of Captain.
Rachel Priest is also an attacking bats woman who has played a lot of solid innings in previous matches. Although, not scored very consistent in past but able to play a big knock in any match. She is far better than Indian Wicket Keeper Taniya Bhatia. Must pick in SL.
- Suzie Bates will bat one down. Another good batting all rounder bats woman in top order. Played a lot of solid innings of New Zealand Women and also a good medium pacer who can bowl 2-3 overs in every match. Even scored only 13 runs in last game but might be very useful in SL due to his good all round ability.
- Maddy Green will bat two down. Another good bats woman in middle order who is famous for her attacking batting nature. Although not a consistent run scorer but scored vital 29 runs in last match. Might be very good choice in SL. Can try in GL with C/VC Choice.
- Katey Martin will bat three down. Decent middle order bats woman who batted good in pracive match. However, played very less remarkable innings in past but able to play a good innings in any match. Must try in GL.
- K Perkins and Amelia Kerr will do the duty of late hitting. Both are good middle order bats woman. A Kerr registered a good half century in practice match. She is actually a good leg spinner who took two wickets in last game.
- Hayley Jensen will follow next in batting. Another good all rounder in lower order who can bat nicely. She bowled very good in last game and picked three wickets through her good medium pace bowling.
- Lea Tahuhu, Holly Huddleston and Hayley Jensen will lead the pace attack along with Sophi Devine. Jensen took three wickets in last game while Tahuhu and Devine got one.
- Amelia Kerr and L Kasperek will lead the spin. A Kerr is a must pick bowling all rounder in SL. She took two wickets in last game and also has good batting ability as well. L Kasperek is also a good off spinner but could not pick any wicket in last game.
